Some West Ham fans on social media have been full of praise for Jamal Baptiste after his showing in the pre-season friendly against Dundee.
The Hammers didn’t have an afternoon to remember against Dundee as they laboured to a 2-2 draw against the Scottish club.
However, one man who did shine was Baptiste, and Hammers supporters online were quick to make their thoughts known.
The teenager netted the London club’s first goal and it seems as though his performance caught the eye of many West Ham fans.
Baptiste is a player who has shown plenty of potential during his budding career thus far.
Baptiste became the second-youngest player to appear for West Ham’s Under-23 side in 2019/20 at the age of 16, and made a further nine appearances at that level throughout the campaign.
It seems as though the teenager is now making strides towards becoming a star in the first-team.
