Trent Alexander-Arnold has been speaking to Amazon Prime about his toughest opponent, and interestingly, he chose someone Liverpool want.
What’s the story?
Well, Alexander-Arnold mentioned Kevin De Bruyne as a contender, but the 23-year-old believes Eden Hazard is the best player he’s faced.
It comes shortly after El Nacional revealed that Liverpool want to sign the Belgium international, who Chelsea sold to Real Madrid for £130m.
Alexander-Arnold said: “Eden Hazard, yeah. The best, by probably a little bit of a distance. Maybe De Bruyne, but directly against an opponent, it would have to be Hazard.
“Speed, agility, his awareness, his intelligence on and off the ball, unreal.”
The England international may not have to worry about Hazard ever again, if Jürgen Klopp can bring the forward to Anfield that is.
Impressively, the 30-year-old scored 85 Premier League goals in 245 appearances for Chelsea, while also providing 54 assists.
It’s no wonder Alexander-Arnold is so fearful of him!
Should Liverpool sign Eden Hazard?

We’re not having El Nacional‘s report – it’s surely not true.
Liverpool don’t really sign players like Hazard under Klopp and Michael Edwards, someone who would command huge wages and has also experienced their best years already.
The ex-Lille man is said to earn £416,000-a-week at Real Madrid, a salary that Liverpool and Fenway Sports Group (FSG) would surely go nowhere near.

Hazard has also struggled hugely at the Santiago Bernabeu, scoring just five goals in 54 appearances for Los Blancos.
With all of the above in mind, Liverpool should steer well clear of a move for the declining Belgian attacker.
