Harry Kane is putting his name right in the mix to be Player of the Season after Tottenham’s thumping 4-1 win on Sunday.

It was only the two goals and two assists from Tottenham’s leading man, who even impressed a number of Crystal Palace supporters.

From laying the ball on a plate for Gareth Bale to his first-time strike from outside the area, Kane is showcasing that he can do the lot.

The 27-year-old has remarkably scored 16 goals and supplied 13 assists for his teammates this season, including combining with Heung-Min Son for 14 goals – the most during a single PL campaign of any duo, of course, football didn’t begin before 1992!

It’s going to be interesting to see what numbers Kane does hit when the final ball is kicked because he may well break some long-standing records.

Another game in which Kane likes to find the back of the net is in the North London derby, and that’s not far away now.

There is the important stop-gap of playing a Europa League knockout game before Sunday’s showdown, but just like the reverse fixture, Kane will be hoping to continue his goalscoring dominance in this fixture.

Nonetheless, Palace supporters were wowed by the Tottenham hitman and admitted that there is no shame in losing out to such a talented superstar.
