Harry Redknapp has waxed-lyrical about West Ham on talkSPORT (26/08/21 at 7:40 am) and claimed that Michail Antonio is ‘unplayable’, at the moment.

West Ham have won their opening two games of the new Premier League season, scoring eight goals, including four against Leicester on Monday night.

Antonio ran riot on that evening at the London Stadium, as the £7 million Forest signing (Sky Sports) netted a brace and provided an assist.

It has been quite the return to West Ham for David Moyes and Redknapp applauded him for the job that he is doing.

“It was a great night the other night,” said Redknapp. “I love watching them. Seeing the fans, they have got great support, West Ham – the atmosphere was electric.

“David Moyes has just done an amazing job. I love the team. Dawson, what a free transfer he was. The two Czech boys, the right-back and the midfield player. How good have they been?

“Antonio is unplayable, at the moment, He looks such a good player. The team is looking great, let’s hope it continues and it will hopefully be a great year for West Ham.”

Imagine if the Hammers could sprinkle Jesse Lingard back into this side then it would elevate them even further.

At this moment in time, he is still at Manchester United, and with deadline day looming, those in East London would want him back.

It seems as though Kurt Zouma is on the verge of joining, so slowly but surely, Moyes is building quite the squad.

Whilst others go and splash millions and millions, the Scotsman has used his eagle-eyed talent to lure players others wouldn’t go for or spot.

Both Tomas Soucek and Vladimir Coufal, who have been revelations at the club, are prime examples of that.
