Martin Odegaard fired Arsenal top of the Premier League standings this evening.
The Gunners recorded a comfortable 3-0 victory away to Bournemouth to make it three victories in succession for Mikel Arteta’s side.
Arsenal effectively killed the game off within 20 minutes when Odegaard scored twice to give the visitors a healthy lead.
William Saliba added a sensational third shortly after the half-time break.
However, Alan Smith has awarded his man of the match award to a certain Gabriel Jesus.
Jesus effectively made the first goal with a stunning solo run to set up Gabriel Martinelli, whose saved effort fell kindly for Odegaard.

And the former Manchester City hitman was unfortunate not to added a fourth in the second half when his lovely finish was chalked off by VAR.
Here’s what Smith said on Sky Sports: “Odegaard could easily have got it. But a bit of bias as a No9 myself – Jesus The part he played in that first goal, he deserved to be player of the match. And everything he has done since has been excellent.
“Unlucky not to get on the scoresheet but what an addition to the team Jesus has been and will be.”
Jesus scored twice in the 4-2 victory over Leicester City last weekend and for £45 million, he’s certainly looking like an absolute bargain.
Despite not getting amongst the goals this evening, he was a constant threat and, as Smith said, he is proving an inspired addition by Edu and Arteta.
