David Moyes’s West Ham United are unlikely to be able to sign Piotr Zielinski from Napoli in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth.
The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that West Ham are now “unlikely to pursue” a deal for Napoli midfielder Zielinski in the summer transfer window.
The well-connected Sky Sports reporter has said that it is increasingly likely that the Poland international midfielder will stay at Napoli.
Sheth has noted that initial talks between the Hammers and Napoli have shown the gap in valuations of Zielinski, adding that the Italian club want €40 million (£33.54m).

West Ham should stay positive over Piotr Zielinski
In our view, West Ham United should stay optimistic about signing Piotr Zielinski from Napoli in the summer transfer window.
We have covered an earlier report from La Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that Napoli are ‘wavering’ and could sell Zielinski to the Hammers after their €35 million (£29.30 million) offer.
Money talks in football.
It will be interesting to see what Zielinski does if Napoli indeed decide to sell him to West Ham.
Napoli will play in the UEFA Champions League next season, West Ham will not.
Could that affect the Poland international midfielder’s decision?
