A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United…
Manchester United are reportedly planning for life without Robin van Persie.
That is the claim of the London Evening Standard, which reports that the former Arsenal star looks set to be sold this summer rather than remaining at Old Trafford for the duration of his current contract.
It is alleged that the Holland international is set to land an additional £10million in loyalty bonuses if he sees out his United deal and that the club are considering moving him on with Edinson Cavani and Thomas Muller the latest potential replacements to be namechecked.
In other news, Serbian journalist Aca Stojanovic claims United have made an approach for Shakhtar Donetsk defender Dario Srna.
The journalist is well-respected in his homeland but he has made it clear the latest claims are unofficial.
However he says United are interested in bringing the right-back to Old Trafford in January and the player is likely to say yes.
