A select round-up of the latest news relating to Manchester United…
Manchester United have reportedly received an injury boost ahead of their Premier League match against Arsenal.
The Telegraph reports that Phil Jones, Jonny Evans, Radamel Falcao and Michael Carrick should all be fit to face the Gunners at the weekend, while David de Gea should make it despite suffering a dislocated finger on international duty.
That would considerably ease the injury woes currently blighting Louis van Gaal’s side, although Daley Blind and Marcos Rojo remain side-lined.
In other news, United’s club-record signing Angel Di Maria suffered a knock for Argentina against Portugal on Tuesday evening.
The injury was caused by a coming-together with his United teammate Nani, who is currently on loan at Sporting Lisbon, but it is hoped the former Real Madrid star will be fit for the weekend.
He has had some x-rays and the full extent of the injury is likely to be known in the next day or so.
