Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane has certainly had the last laugh over Arsenal, with his comments on Good Morning Britain (8:19), which was broadcast on ITV.
Kane was famously pictured in an Arsenal shirt when he was younger, and Gunners supporter Piers Morgan could not resist bringing up the photo when interviewing the Spurs star.
But when asked if he would be open to a return to Arsenal, Kane had an answer to delight Spurs fans.
“Absolutely not no, we’re in a good spot at the moment so I’m happy,” the England captain, who is now valued at £250 million (Telegraph), said.
“I played for Arsenal when I was younger and unfortunately for them they let me go. I’ve been at Tottenham since I was 11 years old, and I’m reaping the rewards for that now.”
Arsenal, of course, will regret letting Kane go now, but their loss has certainly been Tottenham’s gain.

Kane has developed into one of the very best strikers in world football, and has scored at a hugely prolific rate for Spurs.
The 27-year-old has just knocked in his 150th Premier League goal for Tottenham and he has been in remarkable form this term.
While the likes of Pierre Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette have struggled at Arsenal, Kane has knocked in 13 goals and claimed 10 assists in his 14 outings in a Tottenham shirt so far this campaign.
