Speaking on the All To Play For Podcast, Joe Cole has claimed that West Ham United midfielder Pablo Fornals is underrated.
The former Hammers star was discussing the London club’s chances to get into the top four between now and the end of the season, and he highlighted Fornals as one vitally important player.
“Going forward with Lingard, Bowen and Fornals being back is a big big thing. Fornals plays further forward on the pitch, but when Fornals is playing I feel relaxed because he puts in so much work. He’s a real grafter that kid, works so hard,” The podcast’s host said.
“Yeah he’s a good player. An underrated player Fornals, he’s an important part of that team,” Cole added.

West Ham have several players you could call underrated, and Fornals is definitely one of them.
The 25-year-old isn’t quite in the mould you’d expect a Spanish attacking midfielder to be, but he perfectly complements what David Moyes is trying to do at West Ham, and he’s a big reason for their success this term.
Hopefully, Fornals and co can keep this up between now and the end of the season as the London club continue their quest to clinch a spot in the top four.
