Ashley Cole suggested on ITV (7:03pm, March 28, 2021) that Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane wants to leave.
The former Arsenal and Chelsea left-back believes that although Kane comes across as happy in his interviews, the Spurs striker wants to win big trophies like all players.
The Sky Sports and ITV pundit does not think that the 27-year-old striker can win major silverware at Spurs.
Kane recently gave an interview in which he suggested that he could leave Tottenham at the end of the season, as quoted on Sky Sports.
Cole said about Kane on ITV (7:03pm, March 28, 2021): “Every time I hear him speak or see him on the TV and he talks about or addresses the situation about the contract, he seems happy, but under the surface, I can tell he wants to win as well, like most players want to win.
“They want to compete for trophies, they want to finish their careers with as many top games, big games, big accolades as they can do. Will he do that at Tottenham? I don’t think so.”

Tottenham Hotspur stay?
Kane has been on the books of Tottenham his entire professional club football career so far and seems happy at the club.
Of course, the 27-year-old wants to win big trophies, but there is a chance that he could do so at Spurs.
Spurs are in the EFL Cup final this season, and with Jose Mourinho the manager now, the North London club could win the Premier League in the coming years with a bit of investment.
According to WhoScored, Kane has scored 17 goals and provided 13 assists in the Premier League and scored three goals and gave two assists in the Europa League for Spurs this season.
