West Ham United co-owner David Gold has lit the claret and blue touch paper with supporters once again.

West Ham are deep in the relegation mix and in something of a crisis on and off the pitch.
The team had turned a corner under David Moyes but injuries and a lack of activity during the January transfer window have led to unhappy fans fully revolting against the club’s board.
The Hammers are just three points off the relegation places in an increasingly congested Premier League table.
The East Londoners have lost form at the wrong time, failing to win in three crucial matches against fellow strugglers including a 3-1 defeat at Brighton last time out.
The discontent among West Ham fans has reached breaking point with a mass protest march planned for the Burnley game on March 10th.

Supporters are angry with David Sullivan, David Gold and Karren Brady over what they feel are broken promises regarding transfers, ambition and the move to the former Olympic Stadium in Stratford.
Sullivan and Gold are being urged to sell the club to more ambitious owners befitting a club with the second most season ticket holders in the Premier League behind Manchester United.
And now Gold has stoked the fire once again on social media with an ill-advised dig at fans on Twitter.

The 81-year-old endorsed a tweet on the social networking site saying: “You have very short memories 100 million in debt and days away from administration.”

Gold retweeted the message for his 192,000 followers to see and it provoked an angry reaction from supporters who lambasted him and Sullivan over their running of the club.
It is the latest in a long line of embarrassing and very public incidents involving Gold, Sullivan and Brady.
