Nadir Ciftci does not seem to have a future at Celtic.

Celtic's Nadir Ciftci in action

Nadir Ciftci may have done well at Dundee United, but he has severely struggled at Celtic. The Turkish forward is currently on loan at Pogon Szczecin, but it does not seem that he is improving or developing.

The 25-year-old forward is talented and has quality, but he has done nothing of note since his move to Celtic to suggest that he could be a success at Celtic Park.

The fact that the forward was loaned out to Eskisehirspor and then to Pogon Szczecin in the January transfer window suggests that he is not fancied by the Celtic chiefs.

In 25 appearances in all competitions for Celtic, Ciftci has been able to score just four goals. The former NAC Breda forward’s current contract with Celtic runs until June 2019, but one should not be surprised if he is sold at the end of the season.

The problem that Celtic could face is that they may not find a club who would be willing to pay a decent transfer fee to sign Ciftci. It is very much possible that the Glasgow giants would have to take a hit in order to get rid of the forward.
