Clinton Morrison says Pascal Struijk looked ‘uncomfortable’ during Leeds United’s 2-2 draw in the third-round of the FA Cup to Championship side, Cardiff City on Sunday.
The former Crystal Palace striker thinks the Leeds centre-back struggled to deal with Cardiff’s aggression and early strong start in this monstrous FA Cup showdown, as he told Sky Sports News.
It was a game of two halves in Wales, with Cardiff opening up a deserved 2-0 lead in the first half, before Leeds fought back in the second, including Rodrigo missing a penalty at 2-1.

It was youngster Sonny Perkins, off the bench, who ensured that Jesse Marsch’s side avoided an upset and forced a replay against Mark Hudson’s men.
From a defensive aspect, the same issues are there for Leeds and it’s not going to please Marsch, even though his team are still in the competition.
Nonetheless, with Struijk one of the players at fault for Jaden Philogene-Bidace’s opening goal, Morrison spoke about his early struggles.
“Let me say, Pascal Struijk, the centre-half, looked uncomfortable,” said Morrison. “For the first 25 minutes, he looked uncomfortable.”

LEEDS’ DEFENSIVE ISSUES
Whether it’s Marcelo Bielsa or Jesse Marsch, Leeds are proving that they are easy to play against, even a struggling Championship team put two past them today.
On one hand, fans want to see this all-aggressive and 100-miles-per-hour style from the Leeds team.
But, on the other, it’s resulting in their own penalty area being attacked more than they would want.
It’s Aston Villa in the Premier League next for the Whites, and whilst it was a goalless draw during the reverse fixture at Elland Road, last season at Villa Park, they recorded a 3-3 draw, so expect another crazy scoreline.
