Arsenal fans were furious with the 24-year-old on Saturday.
Arsenal lost 1-0 at Stoke City on Saturday evening with a somewhat limp performance from Arsene Wenger’s side, it must be said.
The Gunners, who scraped a 4-3 win at home to Leicester City in their Premier League opener last Friday, were downed by a Jese winner shortly after the break yesterday.
At the other end, Arsenal struggled to fashion many goalscoring chances, though Alexandre Lacazette did have a goal wrongly chalked off for offside in the final quarter.

Nevertheless, fans of the North London club are rightly furious with the defeat and several players were singled out for criticism by supporters on Twitter afterwards.
But perhaps none moreso than Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The 24-year-old, linked by The Mirror to a £35 million switch to Chelsea this month, was deployed as Arsenal’s right wing-back, forcing Wenger to put Hector Bellerin over the other side in a switch which did not really pay dividends.
Oxlade-Chamberlain had some bright moments, and created three chances for the visitors, but his decision making was called into question on a number of occasions and the Gunners faithful weren’t overly impressed by his display, it’s safe to say.
