Don Hutchison has shared that Harry Kane was ‘unbelievably sharp’ during Tottenham’s 1-1 draw at Southampton on Tuesday, as he told the Football Daily.

The former Scotland international thinks Kane is ‘back to his best’ for Tottenham after previous struggles.

Kane equalised for Spurs at St Mary’s from the penalty spot after Heung-Min Son was fouled.

The England captain also had a goal disallowed because he was deemed offside, although his first touch and finish for that strike was quite outstanding.

This is what Hutchison had to say about Kane and the performances he has been producing for Spurs of late.

“I did their game,” said Hutchison. “I was doing commentary and Kane was back to his best.

“He was unbelievably sharp. He had a goal disallowed. It was a typical Harry Kane touch and finish.”

After going a few months without scoring in the Premier League, Kane has now found the back of the net on three games on the bounce.

The first half of the campaign didn’t go as well as Kane would have liked, but it’s probably best he leaves his best form till last.

Tottenham fans want Antonio Conte to guide them into the Champions League places.

And if Kane goes on a goalscoring run during the second half of the season, then it could prove to be the difference in where they finish in the table.
