As reported by Sky Sports News journalist Keith Downie on Twitter, the new Magpies manager was seen arriving at Newcastle’s training ground in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Howe was announced yesterday as the new head coach of Newcastle following a lengthy recruitment process from the club’s new owners. It is the 43-year-old coach’s first job since leaving AFC Bournemouth in 2020.
The appointment of Howe has been well received from both Newcastle fans and neutrals alike. Moreover, the Telegraph report that Michael Emenalo will join the new Toon boss as the club’s director of football.
The mood around Newcastle has increased a lot on positivity over the past 24 hours. And with almost two weeks until the next Premier League match, Howe has plenty of time to become familiar with his new team.
