Leeds fans have taken to Twitter in amazement after seeing Harry Christy pull off an ‘incredible’ save for the Under-17 side on Tuesday.
The 17-year-old posted the eight-second clip of his wonder-stop on Twitter, and it led to plenty of replies from some impressed Leeds fans.
The Athletic’s Leeds correspondent Phil Hay also commented on the stop, tweeting ‘what a save this is’ in response to Christy’s tweet.
Sadly, Leeds couldn’t get past Blackburn in the U17 Premier League cup quarter-final, as they lost 1-0 after a goal from Georgie Gent.
However, despite the loss, Christy is clearly proud of his 73rd minute save and he has every right to be.
Hopefully Marcelo Bielsa was watching, as Leeds may need a new No.2 to deputise for Illan Meslier soon.

The Athletic believe that Leeds want to offload Kiko Casilla at the end of this season.
In that respect, there will be a vacancy in the goalkeeping department.
That isn’t to say we think Christy will rocket up the ranks this summer, but if he keeps pulling off saves like this, then there could potentially be a spot as Bielsa’s No.2 for him in a few years.

All he can do is keep his head down, work hard and keep improving as a goalkeeper.
If he can do that successfully, there’s no reason why Leeds can’t have their own Meslier emerge from the academy.
Let’s see how the Leeds fans on Twitter reacted to the eight-second footage…
