Pedro Chirivella has taken to Twitter to give his reaction to Liverpool signing Kostas Tsimikas.

Liverpool have signed Tsimikas from Olympiakos in the summer transfer window, as announced on the Reds’ official website.

As reported by The Guardian, the Premier League champions have paid £11.75 million as transfer fee to Olympiakos.

Chirivella – who left Liverpool for Nantes earlier this summer after turning down a five-year contract extension, according to The Liverpool Echo – believes that the Reds have made an “unbelievable” signing, and has raved about the 24-year-old Greece international left-back.

Good signing for Liverpool?

Andy Robertson is the first-choice left-back at Liverpool and is one of the best players in the world in his position.

However, the Scotland international needs competition and a back-up, and Tsimikas will be just that.

The 24-year-old is a very experienced left-back who is at the age where he can still learn and improve.

Liverpool will be looking to win the Premier League title again next season and also make an impact in the Champions League, and manager Jurgen Klopp needs a big and strong squad in that quest.
