Oliver Burke praises Celtic team-mate Scott Bain.

Oliver Burke has told The Scottish Sun that Celtic team-mate Scott Bain has been nothing short of ‘tremendous’ since coming into the first XI.
The Scot has been Celtic’s first-choice goalkeeper for all of 2019 so far after displacing Craig Gordon following the winter break.
It was Brendan Rodgers who originally dropped the 36-year-old, but Neil Lennon, who replaced Rodgers as Hoops boss on an interim basis last month, has continued with Bain.
He hasn’t put a foot wrong and could become Scotland’s number one following the retirement of Allan McGregor last week.
Burke, who earns £30,000 per week [Silly Season], has only been at Parkhead for a couple of months after joining on a half-season loan in January, but the West Brom-owned attacker is certain that his new team-mate can carry his ‘unbelievable’ Bhoys form into the international scene if Scots boss Alex McLeish gives him the nod.
“He has been tremendous since he came in. He’s made some unbelievable saves. I think he’s great, personally. He will be able to do the job, no doubt about it,” he told The Scottish Sun.
“If he can do it at Celtic then why not with the national team? Nothing fazes him.”
It was only a matter of time before Gordon lost his place. He was a fantastic goalkeeper for the Hoops, but you always got the feeling that a farcical error was never far away either.
You don’t really sense that with Bain at the moment and if McLeish does pick him, the Scots can be confident that he’ll perform.
