Jonny Williams has told talkSPORT that Tottenham forward Gareth Bale is the ‘best player’ in training for Wales.
The 31-year-old returned to Tottenham this season, but he hasn’t hit the consistent heights many were expecting to see.
In recent months, Bale has looked like his old self, including helping his country pick up crucial wins during their World Cup qualifiers over the international break.
Nonetheless, Cardiff midfielder, Williams, shared what the Tottenham speedster is like in training and away from the pitch.
“He’s unbelievable,” said Williams. “Even now still the same. Today, the best player in training. Most days best player in training.
“He is a pleasure to play with. Top, top person and you can now start to see that he’s fit and hungry to go and do the business.
“Every time he plays for Wales, he gives 100% and more. And it’s a pleasure to play alongside him.”

Bale has had his critics this season, those from the outside and from the likes of Jose Mourinho and the Tottenham fans.
It doesn’t seem as though Bale will be donning Tottenham’s colours again next season and he will be hoping he can leave with a bang.
Lifting the League Cup would be a great finish, as would securing a top-four finish, but many are questioning if either of those will happen.
