Martin Tyler and Gary Neville were left floored by Alisson Becker’s pass during Liverpool’s 4-0 win over Manchester United on Tuesday night, as they told Sky Sports Premier League.

In the 71st minute, as Liverpool played the ball out from the back, Alisson pinged a brilliant first-time ball to Sadio Mane in midfield.

If there is anything that sums up how the modern-day game has changed, then it’s what goalkeepers are capable of in today’s game, not with their hands, but with their feet.

There are some keepers who can make the ball talk like midfield players, that’s how good they are.

When Alisson showcased his magic against Man United, Neville couldn’t believe what he was seeing, as he joked that he couldn’t even do that during his peak years as a player.

“Under pressure that was some pass from Alisson to Mane,” said Tyler.

Neville added: “It was an unbelievable pass. I just watched a goalkeeper play a pass that I don’t think I played in my entire career and I was an outfield player.”

Liverpool are charging towards possibly winning every trophy available to them this season.

In truth, even though they have been playing so well, it probably still won’t happen.

But, it shouldn’t hide how well Jurgen Klopp and his players have done because it’s possible multiple trophies will be added to their cabinet this term.

They isn’t much difference between themselves and Manchester City in the Premier League title race, whilst Chelsea await them in the FA Cup final and Villarreal in the Champions League semi-final.
