Speaking on Liverpool’s YouTube channel, Kostas Tsimikas has been discussing Trent Alexander-Arnold and his passing ability.

The right-back was selected in the FIFA 22 Team of the Season, and Tsimikas was asked to react to his teammates inclusion in the team.

Understandably, Tsimikas had nothing but good things to say about the full-back after yet another remarkable season that has seen Alexander-Arnold top the assist charts in the Premier League.

Tsimikas says that every single pass Alexander-Arnold plays is perfect, stating that his right-foot is special.

What’s been said?

Tsimikas spoke about his teammate.

“His right is unbelievable, me personally, when I play with him I really enjoy it because he always looks for the 40 meter pass to me, the long passes, every pass is perfect, this guy has something special in his right foot,” Tsimikas said.

One of the best

Tsimikas is right, Alexander-Arnold has a very special right-foot, and there is an argument to make that he’s one of the best ball-strikers in the world.

Yes, he’s not a finisher in the same way as a Robert Lewandowski or a Karim Benzema, but in terms of pure technique, he’s up there with the best.

Every cross seems to have pin-point accuracy, while he’s also one of the best set-piece takers on the planet.

The scary thing is, Alexander-Arnold is still only 23 years old, so he still has a lot of room to grow and improve.

We may well be talking about one of the best defenders of all-time in the coming years.
