Jamie O’Hara has given his verdict on Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford after watching him in action against Fulham at Old Trafford.
The former Tottenham Hotspur player and Sky Sports pundit has made an interesting observation about Rashford.
So, what has Jamie O’Hara said about Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford? Let’s take a look.
Jamie O’Hara comments on Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford
Well, Jamie O’Hara has been speaking about Marcus Rashford on Sky Sports. The former Tottenham Hotspur player was not impressed with the Manchester United forward’s performance against Fulham in the Premier League this past weekend.
O’Hara has said that Rashford could become a world-class player, but he needs to put more effort in.
The Sky Sports pundit thinks that the forward did not try hard enough against Fulham. Rashford was deployed as a striker and did not make a huge impact. TalkSPORT pundit Gabriel Agbonlahor was not impressed either.

O’Hara said about Rashford on Sky Sports: “Don’t get me started, honestly. Watching yesterday was absolutely shocking.
“I am a fan of Marcus Rashford, he has got unbelievable ability and he has got the potential to be a world-class footballer player, but his desire, considering he has come from the Manchester United Academy, his desire to play for Manchester United is non-existent.
“He walks around the football pitch like he does not want to be there. I have never seen anything like it.”
My View: Marcus Rashford miles away from becoming world class
In my opinion, Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford is not going to become world class anytime soon.
Rashford is 26 now, and I do not think that he has progressed and developed as much as we thought he would.
There is no doubt that the England international forward has a lot of talent. He is best deployed out wide and given the freedom to come inside. He is not a natural centre-forward.
But, even when he is played in his best position, Rashford does not always produce the goods. I do not think that the 26-year-old does enough to get the ball back and does tend to lose it cheaply at times.
To become a world-class player, you need to play week in and week out and also perform well in the UEFA Champions League on a regular basis. I do not envisage Rashford doing that anytime soon.
