Jamie Carragher stated on Sky Sports PL (28/11/20) that it’s ‘unbelievable’ when being told that Leeds have won their last 24 away games in all competitions when scoring the first goal under Marcelo Bielsa.
Leeds displayed that over the weekend when they secured all three points at Goodison Park to continue their march up the Premier League table.
On paper, the Yorkshire giants are a newly-promoted side, but on the pitch, they are producing performances a team pushing for Europe would be happy with.
But when Carragher was told live on Sky about Leeds’ run when leading on the road, he was quite impressed by that stat.
“Yes, it’s an unbelievable stat that,” said Carragher. “It really is. I have been really impressed with them.
“What’s impressed me about Leeds is how they have got out of really tight situations over on that far side of their right.
“They cycle the ball really quickly to the other side. So often when you think that you have got them hemmed in, they do really well to get out of situations.”

Leeds are the type of team that can be on the back end of a 4 something defeat one week but dish out that very same punishment to someone else a week later.
It epitomises the mindset in which Leeds play in and it all stems from the man sitting on the bucket on the touchline.
With him at the helm, Leeds dreamt of returning back to the promised land after so many years and they achieved that in spectacular fashion. And now they will no doubt set their bar even higher.
