Ian Wright has praised Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes on Match of the Day on BBC One for his performance against Brentford at St. James’ Park in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
The Arsenal legend believes that Bruno was “unbelievable” for Newcastle in their 5-1 victory over Brentford at home.
Wright has said that it is hard to defend against the 24-year-old Brazil international midfielder because he has got everything.
Bruno scored two goals for the Magpies.

Wright said: “Guimaraes was Man of the Match. Unbelievable today.”
The MOTD pundit added: “That’s the problem with him. If you dive in on him, he will get past you. If you stand off him, he will pass it around. He has got everything.”

In our view, Bruno Guimaraes is one of the best players at Newcastle United and will be massive for Eddie Howe’s side this season.
The Brazilian has been superb for the Magpies since his move to the club, and given that he is only 24, it is fair to say that he will get better.
Bruno is a very dynamic player who can hold his own in the middle of the park, drive the team forward, and also score goals.
In our view, for Newcastle to be successful this season, Bruno has to be on top of his game throughout.
