Heung-Min Son told BT Sport that it was a ‘really difficult’ game for Tottenham during their 3-0 win against Leeds on Saturday afternoon.
After scoring a goal and supplying an assist, Son stated after the match that Leeds are doing an ‘unbelievable’ job.
Despite being a newly-promoted side, Leeds have played like a team who have been in the Premier League for many years, but they came unstuck against Tottenham’s title-challengers.
After the match, Son shared his honest thoughts on Leeds, as Spurs recorded a vital three points after a number of poor results in recent weeks.
“It was a really difficult game,” said Son. “We know how they are doing. They are doing an unbelievable job and they are working so hard.
“We had great chances from the start of the game. Get the clean sheet and 3-0. Start the new year [in a] fantastic [manner].”

One area in which Leeds excel in is the ability to outwork their opponents no matter what and ensure they leave the field with an empty tank.
Whilst Spurs will be disappointed that their midweek fixture against Fulham was postponed, it has perhaps helped them from a fitness perspective because it means they could come into this Leeds match fresh and able to match their intensity.
But for Spurs, their forthcoming games will come at them as fast as a Leeds team on a counter-attack because they still have Premier League, League Cup, and potential postponed games to deal with.
