Unbelievable – Javier Hernandez says Joe Hart was West Ham’s MVP against Chelsea

West Ham United held Chelsea to a 1-1 draw in the Premier League yesterday.

West Ham ace Javier Hernandez spoke to reporters, after earning his side a valuable point away at Chelsea yesterday, and raved about the quality of Joe Hart, labelling the goalkeeper as ‘unbelievable’, as quoted by the club’s official website.

The Hammers produced an extremely hard-working display at Stamford Bridge yesterday, and they now sit six points clear of the drop zone in 14th spot in the Premier League table after their draw against Antonio Conte’s side.

Despite the Mexican earning all of the headlines for scoring his side’s equaliser yesterday, it was Hart who kept his side in the game, making a succession of fabulous saves throughout the course of the match.

The 30-year-old has received heavy criticism for his performances this season, with his World Cup place in serious doubt.

Hart silenced those critics at the Bridge yesterday, though, and Hernandez offered high words of praise for the England international stopper, as quoted by the club’s official website:

“After that, in the final ten or 15 minutes, we created two or three more chances, but unfortunately we didn’t take one. Chelsea also created some good chances, but Joe was the MVP with his unbelievable saves.”

Next up for the Hammers is their huge clash with Stoke City next Monday, and Hart will surely have to be at his very best once again, if his side are to have any chance of earning maximum points against Paul Lambert’s side.
