Jan Age Fjortoft has pointed out on Twitter where Erling Haaland is better than Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah.
The former Middlesbrough and Norway international forward has said that Borussia Dortmund striker Haaland is never offside, unlike Liverpool star Salah.
Fjortoft, who now works as a pundit, made the claim while watching the Premier League game between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Liverpool on Monday evening.
Haaland has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the summer of 2021, with Mundo Deportivo reporting this week that manager Jurgen Klopp is so keen on the Norway international striker that he is willing to sell Salah, Roberto Firmino or Sadio Mane to bring him to Anfield.
Good signing for Liverpool?
Haaland is one of the best young strikers in Europe and is banging in the goals for fun.

The 20-year-old has scored 19 goals and provided four assists in the Bundesliga and has scored 10 goals and given one assist in the Champions League for Dortmund so far this season, according to WhoScored.
The former Molde and RB Salzburg striker is a natural goalscorer and would make Liverpool more potent in attack, as well as increase the competition in the attacking department.
However, Dortmund may not be willing to sell Haaland, and if they do, then they could demand a huge transfer fee.
Former Liverpool defender Jamie Carragher has been impressed by the striker’s shot conversation rate of 44% in the Champions League, while ex-Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand is also a fan of the youngster.
Meanwhile, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry praised Liverpool forward Diogo Jota on Sky Sports Premier League (7:56pm, March 15, 2021) and said: “I like him. I like his awareness, I like how he runs in behind and he can beat people with the ball.”
