Christian Eriksen was Tottenham Hotspur’s hero on Tuesday night.

Christian Eriksen has remarked on the ‘unbelievable’ relief of scoring Tottenham Hotspur’s winner on Tuesday night.
Tottenham left it late to beat the Seagulls, as Eriksen’s long-range effort on 88 minutes was enough.
Only winning one point against Chris Hughton’s side would have made it a nervy last few weeks in regards to Spurs’ hope of finishing in the top four.
But the victory has given them a four-point cushion over fifth-placed Arsenal with three Premier League games left – the Gunners have four.
Eriksen told Goal.com: “It was relief, yes, unbelievable.
“It was a good strike – I had a few before that! I was warmed up to shoot and very pleased it went in.”
The good news for Mauricio Pochettino’s side is that two of their final three league games come at home – against West Ham this Saturday, and Everton on May 12.
The Lilywhites also have the small matter of a Champions League semi-final tie with Ajax in between both of those dates and, with Spurs already missing some key personnel, further injuries suffered against the Dutch giants could make their top-four race more arduous than it would be otherwise.
