Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale is close to signing a new contract with the Gunners along with Bukayo Saka, according to a report.
Aaron Ramsdale to sign new Arsenal contract
The Telegraph have reported that England international winger Saka is close to putting pen to paper on a new contract with Arsenal.
The report has added that Arsenal goalkeeper Ramsdale is on the verge of committing his long-term future to the Gunners as well.
Ramsdale joined Arsenal from Sheffield United in the summer of 2021 for £24 million.
The 24-year-old England international goalkeeper, described as “unbelievable” by Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson on the Footballers’ Football Podcast in April, is under contract at the Gunners until the summer of 2025, with an option for a further year.

HITC Verdict: Well-deserved
In our view, if Aaron Ramsdale does get a new contract with Arsenal, then it will be well deserved.
The Englishman has been superb during his time at Arsenal and has become a fan favourite.
Yes, Ramsdale still makes some occasional mistakes, but which player doesn’t?
We believe that overall the goalkeeper has been a huge success at Arsenal, and it is right that the Gunners are rewarding him with a new contract.
Ramsdale is only 24, and there is every chance that he will get better and improve in the coming years.
Arsenal could win the Premier League title this season.
The North London club will definitely play in the UEFA Champions League next season.
And the importance of Ramsdale in Arteta’s team will only grow.
