Liverpool left-back Andy Roberson has praised his teammates Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate on Sky Sports Premier League (6:35pm, November 6, 2022) for their performances against Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League on Sunday evening.
Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool got the better of Antonio Conte’s Tottenham 2-1 in North London.
Egypt international forward Mohamed Salah scored both the goals for the Merseyside club.
Liverpool left-back Robertson has highlighted the roles of Van Dijk and Konate in the win.
The Scotland international believes that Van Dijk, who cost Liverpool £75 million in transfer fees (BBC Sport), and the £36 million (Sky Sports) Konate were “unbelievable” against Tottenham.
While Liverpool were the better team in the first half, Spurs stepped up their game in the second period.

Harry Kane pulled a goal back for Tottenham, who could have scored one or two more times late in the game.
Van Dijk and Konate made some great challenges and tackles, and, in the end, Liverpool picked up all three points from the encounter.
