Speaking on the BBC Match of The Day Top 10 Podcast, Alan Shearer has been talking about Jurgen Klopp and the relationship he has with his Liverpool players.
Klopp has been an unbelievable manager for the Reds, and while his tactics have been incredibly influential, his man-management has also been key to the Merseyside club’s success.
Shearer says that he can just tell that every player at Anfield loves playing under the German.
What’s been said?
Shearer spoke about Klopp’s relationship with his squad.
“He’s an unbelievable manager isn’t he? You can just tell that all of the players love playing under him,” Shearer said.
Shearer was later asked if he’d rather play for Klopp or Pep Guardiola.
“I don’t think it matters to be honest, I think they’re both incredible managers. If you had a row with Pep it might last a while, but if you had a row with Jurgen Klopp it would probably just be done and dusted.”

Settled
Shearer is absolutely right, every Liverpool player seems to love Klopp.
The manager is always embracing his players after games, and they seem more than happy to share their happiest moments with the gaffer.
On top of that, no Liverpool player ever complains about their lack of gametime. Joe Gomez has hardly played this season, but he hasn’t aired his grievances, while the same can be said of Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino. Klopp has managed to keep all of his players happy despite not being able to give everyone the minutes they deserve.
Klopp is truly a brilliant man-manager.
