When Tottenham play Chelsea in the FA Cup this weekend at Wembley, they will be helped by a man who simply does not know what it is like to lose against the Blues.

Toby Alderweireld is unbeaten in five matches against the Blues, while playing for two different clubs.

The Belgian has faced Chelsea with Southampton and Tottenham Hotspur, and never finished on the losing side.

Now pouring cold water on the statistic slightly is the fact Alderweireld’s teams have only earned one win in five matches – with the other four ending in draws.

This win came against Chelsea earlier this season at White Hart Lane, with Alderweireld missing Tottenham’s defeat at Stamford Bridge.

He was part of the Atletico Madrid squad which beat Chelsea in the Champions League in the 2014 semi-finals, but did not make it onto the pitch.

Nonetheless the towering centre-back will enter the game with real confidence, which will exude around the rest of the squad.

Tottenham are in fine form and chasing Chelsea down in the Premier League title race.
