Unai Emery has told The Guardian that Arsenal youngster Bukayo Saka is going to be great.
Reflecting on his time as the Arsenal manager, Emery has spoken highly of a number of young players.
The Spaniard has outlined that it was he who gave Saka a chance in the first team, and believes that the 18-year-old – who can operate as a winger, full-back or wing-back – is going to be a great player.
Emery told The Guardian: “The first year was magnificent, I gave opportunities to young players: Bukayo [Saka] played eight minutes and never touched the ball but that was a first step for a 17-year-old who’s going to be great.
“Bernd Leno has grown. [Joe] Willock, Reiss Nelson, [Eddie] Nketiah, [Gabriel] Martinelli. Matteo Guendouzi did very well, Lucas [Torreira]. It’s rewarding seeing them grow.”

Saka has made 12 starts and six substitute appearances in the Premier League for Arsenal so far this season, providing three assists in the process, according to WhoScored.
The teenager has also scored two goals and provided five assists in six Europa League matches for the Gunners this campaign, according to WhoScored.
The 18-year-old has also played twice in the EFL Cup and thrice in the FA Cup for the North London outfit this season, according to WhoScored.
During the 2018-19 campaign, Saka played seven minutes in the Premier League and 112 minutes in the Europa League, according to WhoScored.
