Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson has been out since the start of the month with injury.

Unai Emery has told Football London that Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson will be back in training soon.

Nelson picked up an injury at the start of the month, during Arsenal’s 4-0 victory with Standard Liege in the Europa League.

The youngster has not been able to feature since, but it seems that his absence is not set to be too lengthy.

Nelson is due to return to Arsenal training very shortly, which will give Emery a full squad to pick from.

“Injured now is only Reiss Nelson. He is coming back in a few days to start training with us,” Emery revealed at his press conference yesterday.

Having a fully fit squad is a major boost to Emery, and it is a luxury which has been all too rare during his time at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have often suffered badly with injuries, but it seems that the squad is fresh at the moment.

The pressure will now be on Emery’s side to start collecting results, as their form has tailed off recently.

Arsenal have won just once in their last four Premier League matches, and have dropped down to fifth place in the table.

The Gunners are next in action this evening, when they take on Liverpool in the League Cup.
