Tottenham Hotspur take on Arsenal in the Premier League today.

Unai Emery has told The Independent what many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been claiming; Spurs are better than Arsenal right now.
The North London rivals meet for the first time this season later today, with Spurs making the short trip to the Emirates Stadium to take on an Arsene Wenger-less Arsenal.
It’s Emery’s first North London derby, and he will be going up against a manager he knows well from his time in La Liga in Mauricio Pochettino.
Having beaten Spurs at the Emirates last season, Arsenal will be hoping for a repeat today, bu they did lose their last Premier League outing to Tottenham back in February.
The two teams head into the game separated by just three points, with Arsenal in fifth on 27 and Spurs in third on 30, meaning the game is finely poised ahead of today’s clash.

Emery has now been speaking ahead of the game, and has given his very honest verdict on Spurs, claiming that they are simply better than Arsenal right now, an admission that Spurs fans will absolutely love ahead of today’s game.
“At the moment, Tottenham is better than us in the table and better than us last year but in history Arsenal is better at other moments than Tottenham,” said Emery.
