Target man Sadiq has finally completed his long-awaited Rangers move from Roma.

Rangers have completed the long-awaited signing of Roma target man Umar Sadiq on a season-long loan just before their Europa League tie against FK Shkupi – and the striker posted on Instagram after the move.
The 21-year-old joins Steven Gerrard’s side on loan until the end of the season and adds much-needed cover up front, with the Gers set to sell Eduardo Herrera and deciding against a permanent deal for Jason Cummings.
Sadiq brings with him plenty of promise after scoring two goals in six appearances for Roma’s senior side, as well as finding the back of the net five times during 12 matches with Dutch Eredivisie side NAC Breda last season.
The 6ft 3in striker posted on Instagram after the move – which has reportedly been in the offing for quite some time – was finally completed by Steven Gerrard’s side. He captioned a photo with “I’m a Ranger”.
Rangers completed the signing of Sadiq and playmaker Lassana Coulibaly on Tuesday, becoming the eighth and ninth transfers of Gerrard’s era as manager of the Scottish giants.
The Scottish Sun claims they are both eligible to play against FK Shkupi on Thursday night in the first round of Europa League qualifying, after the Gers completed the signings in time.
It remains to be seen whether Gerrard will indeed bring any more new signings to Ibrox this summer, as the competitive campaign gets underway at this early stage.
