Umar Sadiq admits that he got close with Alfredo Morelos at Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers.

Umar Sadiq has admitted to The Sunday Post that Alfredo Morelos was the only friend he made during his six-month stint at Rangers this season.
Rangers terminated Sadiq’s season-long loan in January and sent him back to Roma, who have since loaned him to Italian second-tier side Perugia.
The 22-year-old was behind Morelos and Kyle Lafferty in Gers boss Steven Gerrard’s pecking order, and believes that the recruitment of Lafferty made it impossible for him to succeed.
During a rather explosive interview, Sadiq also criticised the club for ‘humiliating’ him after Gerrard exiled him from the first team.
But the Nigerian striker has reserved praise for one former team-mate – Morelos.
He said to The Sunday Post: “One man I do wish all the luck and success to in the future, though, is Alfredo Morelos.
“He was my fellow striker, and I felt good with him during the time I was in Scotland.
“I would say that he is a very good player and an exceptional guy. He will be one of the few Rangers that I will follow with affection.”
Sadiq, who started one competitive game under Gerrard, looks to be faring slightly better in Serie B, and has netted twice in his last three games for Perugia.
