The Leicester City striker has been linked with a move to Aston Villa.

Aston Villa are in need of a striker in this month’s transfer window and Leicester City’s Leonardo Ulloa is one player who has been linked with a move to the club.
As reported by The Daily Telegraph, Villa are hoping to bring in Ulloa on loan until the end of the season.
Ulloa has been on the periphery of proceedings for Leicester this season, making just four Premier League appearances, and may well relish the opportunity to play regularly, even if he does have to drop down to the Championship.

However, the Argentine’s recent goalscoring record should deter Villa from pursuing him.
Since joining Leicester from Brighton & Hove Albion in 2014 Ulloa has mustered just 20 goals in 102 appearances across all competitions, indicating that he isn’t the clinical striker Villa require.

Villa are currently in fifth place in the Championship and are eager to secure a play-off berth as they look to earn promotion to the Premier League.
The club’s transfer activity this month could be hugely important in terms of determining whether they achieve that objective, but they should certainly aim higher than Ulloa.
