Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter in a panic after Football London revealed some early teams news before tonight’s clash with Liverpool.
Football London’s Arsenal correspondent tweeted that David Luiz will miss the game due to a knee injury.
Wheatley added that Granit Xhaka has been sick, and will need to be assessed before kick-off.
It was also said that Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka face late fitness tests.
Clearly, there’s plenty for Mikel Arteta to think about ahead of his meeting with Jürgen Klopp tonight.
However, in our view, it’s not the end of the world.
Arteta can still call upon Thomas Partey to hold his midfield together, with the likes of Dani Ceballos and Martin Ødegaard joining him in the middle.

With Luiz out, the Spaniard can also call upon Rob Holding to partner Gabriel Magalhães, a partnership that has proven to be effective during this season.
Of course, Saka is – in our view – much harder to replace. In fact, he’s almost irreplaceable.
However, a frontline of Nicolas Pepe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette can still pose Liverpool some problems.

It’s not all doom and gloom for the Gunners.
However, it feels like that for these Arsenal fans below, who are far from pleased with Wheatley’s early team news.
Let’s see what they’ve been saying…
