Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter to react after Sky Sports shared comments from an interview with Lothar Matthäus.
Matthäus told Sky Sports Germany that Bayern Munich boss Hansi Flick will replace Joachim Löw and take the German national team job.
He states that Germany have made an offer to Flick, and in his opinion, the Bayern Munich boss is going to accept it.
Matthäus adds that Bayern Munich have already made contact with Julian Nagelsmann to replace Flick, which is what Tottenham fans have been chatting about.
According to The Times, Nagelsmann is admired by Daniel Levy, and the RB Leipzig boss would be interested in a move to London to replace José Mourinho.
So, now that he’s been in contact with Bayern Munich, some Spurs supporters have been left slightly disappointed.
One fan said the dream is ‘done’ while another simply said ‘uh oh’ after hearing what Matthäus told Sky Sports.
In our view, Nagelsmann will surely choose Bayern Munich over Tottenham.
The Bavarians are one of the biggest clubs in the world, and if they’ve set their sights on the 33-year-old, then most other sides don’t stand a chance.
