Some Arsenal fans have been left worried after Pierre Emerick Aubameyang was pictured with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel at full-time.
Tuchel and the Arsenal forward have a good relationship, as the German boss used to be Aubameyang’s manager at Borussia Dortmund.
And at full time yesterday, after Arsenal’s 1-0 win, the pair were pictured in conversation with each other.
The chat was likely just a catch up – but that didn’t put many Arsenal fans’ minds at rest.
Some Gunners supporters are worried that Chelsea could submit a bid for Aubameyang, as they look for a centre forward.
Chelsea are likely to sign a number nine in the summer and have previously been interested in Aubameyang, but it would be a surprise if they made a move for him now.
Aubameyang hasn’t had his strongest season at Arsenal this term, with the Gabonese international struggling for goals.
Aubameyang did cut a frustrated figure last night though, which is likely to be where Arsenal fans’ concerns stem from.
After being taken off, Aubameyang looked completely displeased – despite his side picking up the three points.
And it will be interesting to see whether Chelsea could be tempted into making a bid for the rapid striker, with the transfer window back open again soon.
