Aston Villa fans have reacted on Twitter to rumours that Johan Lange has been ‘encouraged’ by talks with the representatives of Arsenal’s Emile Smith Rowe.
As the weeks progress, the more it seems like Aston Villa might just have a chance of landing the Arsenal academy product.
It was recently suggested that Villa were preparing a third bid for the creative talent, whilst Birmingham Live claimed that Smith Rowe has been ‘blown away’ by the interest in him.
Villa fans have shared that they cannot wait to see the reaction of Arsenal supporters if they do end up signing one of their star players.
Many weeks ago, such a rumour would have been dismissed by both sets of supporters.
But fast forward to today, and with Villa seemingly preparing a third bid, this is getting pretty interesting.
Given that Villa have already put in two bids then that says a lot as to where Smith Rowe possibly is in his negotiations with the Gunners.
Now, it could be a clever ploy by Smith Rowe’s management team, in trying to get what they want from Arsenal, but it’s not looking good, at this moment in time.
