It’s not just fans in the United States who will soon be watching UFC on Paramount+.
After Saturday’s UFC 321 card in Abu Dhabi, only two numbered events remain before the PPV model comes to an end, closing out the promotion’s long tenure on ESPN.
Dana White revealed a new broadcast deal back in August. Despite speculation about Netflix and Amazon, it was Paramount who secured the US rights with a $7.7 billion deal that caught many by surprise.
But starting in 2026, viewers outside the United States will also have access to UFC events through Paramount+.
UFC expands Paramount+ Broadcast deal to Latin America and Australia
After the US broadcast rights deal with Paramount was confirmed, many were left wondering what it meant for UFC coverage in other parts of the world.
That question has now been answered for two more regions, with both Latin America and Australia joining the fold under an extended agreement.
On Tuesday, the UFC revealed a seven-year extension of its deal with Paramount+, giving the streaming platform exclusive media rights in those markets as well.
“The partnership with Paramount has already been incredible and it just keeps getting bigger and better,” White said in a statement.
“They are now taking on new territories like Latin America and Australia and this thing is just going to continue to grow. It just shows you how aggressive they are with this business, and I love it.”
White went on to add: “I can’t wait to continue working together and building the next generation of talent all over the world.”
Ilia Topuria linked with first Paramount+ main event
There’s still no official word on what the UFC’s first numbered event under the new Paramount deal will look like, but one name keeps getting mentioned as a possible headliner.
A lot of fans expect Ilia Topuria to be part of it, likely defending his lightweight title for the first time. Dana White hinted at that possibility following an episode of Contender Series.

“We literally — today, matchmaking was today,” White said. “There were some potential fights, and things we want to do for him. Not confirmed yet.”
When asked if Topuria could feature at the first Paramount event, White added, “It’s a possibility.”
