Tyrrell Hatton followed up his opening-round 66 with a second-round 68 at LIV Golf UK on Friday.
Hatton has played some very solid golf this week in his homeland, but he’s still a long way behind the leaders.
Lucas Herbert leads the way at 17-under after two rounds, while Bryson DeChambeau sits at 13-under par at the halfway point.
However, Tyrrell Hatton is certainly capable of getting hot, and it would be no surprise if he forces his way back into contention on Saturday at LIV Golf UK.
Hatton is notoriously self-deprecating, but we all know just how good he is.
And he will have a chance to prove that in front of his own fans over the weekend at LIV Golf UK.

The Englishman spoke to reporters after his second round at the JCB Golf & Country Club on Friday afternoon.
Hatton responded when asked how the fans at JCB Golf & Country Club have impacted his game this week.
“I think I was tied second two years ago,“ the Englishman said.
“Yeah, it’s always nice to play in front of home fans. The crowd have been great so far.
“I always get lots of support, which is really nice.“
The fans at the JCB Golf & Country Club will be right behind Hatton over the weekend, as he looks to win his third LIV Golf title.

The 34-year-old Englishman entered the third round of LIV Golf UK three shots adrift of Bryson DeChambeau and a further four behind the leader, Lucas Herbert.
Hatton was asked whether he believes it will be possible for him to win this week, despite the huge deficit he faces.
“Well, I mean, there’s plenty of opportunities out there,“ he replied.
“You can see how good the scoring’s been the first two days. It’s meant to be a little bit windier tomorrow, but I still imagine the scoring is going to be pretty good.
“Hopefully I can play well and give myself opportunities.“
