Tyrone Mings has played his way into Aston Villa fans’ hearts.

Tyrone Mings has rejected the notion that he was being critical of Aston Villa fans on Twitter in the wake of Saturday’s 2-0 defeat by West Bromwich Albion.
Aston Villa saw their slim hopes of finishing in the playoff places ended by an efficient Albion side at Villa Park this past weekend.
Mings, who joined Dean Smith’s side on loan from Bournemouth in January, issued a rallying call to supporters on Twitter, posting a photo of Villans’ fans and insisting that ‘we must stick together’.
Quite a lot of the fans in the picture appear to be angry, but Mings has denied the idea that he was being critical of them.
The 25-year-old has been a revelation since joining the Villans and whatever happens this season, the fans would love him back next term and beyond.
He exhibits a sense of leadership that the West Midlands side lacked in the first half of the campaign and hopefully for their sake Smith can suss a permanent transfer this summer.
