Tyrone Mings is enjoying his loan spell at Aston Villa, and his teammate and Chelsea-owned striker Tammy Abraham has praised him.

According to The Express & Star, Aston Villa have been in talks with Bournemouth over the permanent signing of Tyrone Mings, and the defender’s comments to FourFourTwo will encourage them.
Mings has said that he has enjoyed his spell at Villa very much, having joined the Championship club on loan from Bournemouth in the January transfer window.
The 26-year-old defender has established himself as an important player at the back in Dean Smith’s side and has been crucial in Villa reaching the Championship playoff final this season.
According to WhoScored, the former Ipswich Town defender – who earns £13,750 per week as salary, according to Spotrac.com – has made 17 appearances in the Championship for Villa since his loan move from Bournemouth in January, scoring two goals in the process.
Mings told FourFourTwo regarding his loan spell at Villa so far: “I needed to come out of Bournemouth, if I wasn’t going to get an opportunity there, and show people what I could do. I don’t think it has revived my career, it has probably just refreshed it.
“It’d be perfect if we got promoted, but so far it’s been everything that a player could want from a loan spell.”

Meanwhile, Villa striker Tammy Abraham, himself on a season-long loan deal from Premier League club Chelsea, has spoken highly of Mings.
Abraham told Sky Sports: “Would I want to play against him? No, he’s a beast. He is fast, strong and very good technically. He reads the game very well and is one of the best defenders I have played with.
“It is something we needed and in January he came in and lifted the team. I never fear anything at the back now, and I’m relaxed when he’s on the ball because I know he’ll find the right pass.”
Villa will take on Derby County at Wembley Stadium in London in the Championship playoff final on Monday afternoon.
