Aston Villa sustained a sickening defeat on Sunday.

Tyrone Mings has suggested to Aston Villa’s official website that he and his team-mates aren’t brave enough when it comes to pressing.
The Villans suffered a horrible 3-2 defeat at Arsenal on Sunday, with the Gunners, who had 10 men for more than half the game, scoring twice in the final 10 minutes.
It was a huge setback for Aston Villa, who are 18th in the Premier League after winning only once so far this season.
Dean Smith’s side could and definitely should have returned to the West Midlands with all three points, and Mings, a £25 million signing this past summer [Sky Sports], has intimated that perhaps the team need a bit more courage out of possession.
He told Aston Villa’s official website: “I don’t know what it is at the moment, but it’s something we need to change. It might be a mentality thing.
“We’re a pressing team and we like to go and press. I think we should be a bit braver and go and stop teams higher up the pitch, especially if we have a man advantage.”
It’s also worth noting that individual errors haven’t helped Aston Villa.
In fact, Mings was majorly to blame for Calum Chambers’s equaliser to make it 2-2 on 81 minutes, after trying to cushion a header to Neil Taylor on the six-yard box instead of putting his foot through the ball.
It’s clear that Smith’s side have a lot of problems, but silly mistakes have cost the team too and the sooner they’re stamped out, the sooner a more thorough tactical inquest can go ahead.
