The Villa teammates knew each other from their time at Bournemouth.

Aston Villa loanee Tyrone Mings has credited teammate Tommy Elphick with helping him settle in at the Championship side.
The 26-year-old, on loan from Bournemouth, has become a fan favourite at Villa Park in a short amount of time, his talent, performances, attitude and personality endearing him to the Villa supporters.
Mings joined Dean Smith’s charges in the January transfer window and has helped transform the Championship club into a bona fide promotion chaser, the Villans having won six on the trot in the league to go up into the playoff picture.
The 6ft 5in centre-back, who has helped to shore up the defence this year alongside fellow loanee Kortney Hause, knew Elphick from when the 31-year-old was at Bournemouth, between 2012 and 2016, before he went on to join the West Midlanders permanently.
Mings spoke to the official Villa site for their weekly One on One feature and one of the questions was regarding how Elphick had helped him settle in.

“Tommy has been brilliant. He’s really helped,” replied Mings. “He’s a big influence in the dressing room. He’s a big character. You can’t underestimate him here – and for me settling in either.
“I obviously played with him at the start when I joined. He’s a good player. He’s a good talker. Obviously, off the field, I have known him for a long time and he’s a really top guy. He’s helped me.”
Up next for Villa, currently sixth in the Championship table following Tuesday night’s fixtures, is Wednesday night’s trip to Rotherham United.
